  • Thoughtful Custom Corporate Gift Ideas to Impress and Delight

Why Corporate Gifting Matters More Than Ever Let’s be honest – corporate gifts can sometimes feel like a tick-box exercise. Ordered in a rush. Logo slapped on. Job done. But when it’s done well? It’s powerful. A thoughtful gift can boost team morale, strengthen client relationships and quietly reinforce your brand in the loveliest way. It’s not really about the thing  – it’s about the feeling behind it. You know when you receive something and you can tell someone’s actually thought about you? That’s the magic. Effort. Care. Attention to detail. In a world that moves at 100mph, that kind of personal touch really stands out. The secret? Customisation and relevance. Gifts that reflect the recipient’s personality, their role, or your company values are the ones that get kept, used and remembered – not shoved in a drawer. Corporate Gifting Ideas That Always Go Down Well Ready for a bit of inspiration? Here are some ideas that feel thoughtful, stylish and genuinely useful. 1. Personalised Desk Accessories There’s something lovely about a tidy, put-together workspace. Custom desk accessories – engraved pen pots, notebooks, wooden organisers – are practical but still feel special. Think a sleek notebook embossed with their initials. Or a beautifully finished wooden desk piece with your logo subtly included (not shouting, just quietly confident). They’re the kind of gifts that get used every single day – and that’s where the real value is. 2. Custom Drinkware You genuinely can’t go wrong with a good mug or water bottle. Coffee is basically a workplace love language at this point. Personalised mugs, tumblers or reusable bottles are always a hit. You can keep it classic with initials, or have a bit of fun with designs that reflect your company culture. And if you opt for eco-friendly materials like bamboo or stainless steel? Even better. It shows you care about the bigger picture too. 3. Gourmet Gift Baskets Food just makes people happy. It’s a fact. A curated basket of artisan treats, chocolates or local goodies feels generous and celebratory. Add custom packaging or a handwritten note and it instantly feels more considered. Perfect for holidays, anniversaries, big wins – or just a heartfelt “thank you”. Mini Cake Topper 4. Tech With a Personal Touch Useful tech is always appreciated – especially when it’s personalised. Think engraved wireless chargers, branded USBs or sleek Bluetooth speakers. They’re functional, stylish and something people will actually use rather than re-gift. Practical doesn’t have to mean boring. 5. Wellness & Self-Care Kits I love this one because it says, “We care about you as a person, not just what you do for us.” A simple wellness kit with candles, cosy touches, quality water bottles or relaxation bits can feel incredibly thoughtful. In today’s busy world, encouraging people to slow down and look after themselves is such a meaningful gesture. Plant with Corporate Logo How to Choose the Right Gift (Without Overthinking It) If choosing feels overwhelming, keep it simple: Know your audience  – What would genuinely brighten their day or make work easier? Stay true to your brand  – Are you playful and creative, or sleek and minimal? Let that shine through. Quality over quantity  – One beautifully made gift will always win over a bundle of cheap bits. Add a personal detail  – A handwritten note or thoughtful packaging goes a long way. Plan ahead  – Especially during busy seasons. Trust me, future-you will be grateful. It’s All in the Finishing Touches Presentation really does matter. A beautifully wrapped gift with a custom tag or branded box elevates the whole experience. It doesn’t have to be over the top – just thoughtful. Clean design. Lovely materials. A note that feels human, not corporate-scripted. Because ultimately, the goal isn’t just to hand over a gift. It’s to build relationships. To create that moment where someone feels genuinely appreciated. So next time you’re choosing corporate gifts, think beyond the obvious. Go personal. Go meaningful. Go for something they’ll actually use and love. That’s when your brand really shines. Happy gifting ✨

  • Discover the Magic of Pure Joy Designs: Creative Gifts That Actually Mean Something

Have you ever spent way  too long scrolling for a gift… only to end up thinking, “Well, that’ll do”? Yep. Same. Finding something that feels personal, thoughtful and not like you panic-bought it at 10pm the night before is honestly harder than it should be. And when you care about someone, you don’t want “fine.” You want wow.  You want goosebumps. You want the “Oh my goodness, you remembered!” reaction. That’s exactly why I’m such a big believer in creative, personalised gift designs. They don’t just tick a box — they tell a story. And that’s where the magic really happens ✨ Why Creative Gifts Just Hit Different So what actually makes a gift “creative”? It’s not about being flashy. It’s about being thoughtful. It’s choosing something that feels like them . Something that says, “I see you.” Whether that’s a quirky quote only your best friend would understand, a beautifully engraved keepsake for a wedding, or branded pieces that make your business look polished and professional. Here’s why personalised gifts always stand out: They feel personal.  Not generic. Not rushed. Properly chosen. They’re memorable.  People keep them. They talk about them. They work for every occasion.  Birthdays, weddings, baby showers, teacher gifts, corporate events… even “just because.” They build connection.  For businesses especially, thoughtful branded gifts go a long way. It’s never just about the object. It’s about how it makes someone feel. And honestly? That’s the bit that matters most. Handwritten message on bottle opener How to Choose the Right Design (Without Overthinking It) If you’ve ever frozen because there are “too many options,” here’s how I keep it simple: Think about them Are they classic and understated? Bold and colourful? Sentimental? Practical? Match the design to their personality and you’re halfway there. Consider the moment A wedding gift might call for something timeless and elegant. A birthday? Go fun. Go joyful. Go full personality. Make it useful I always say — if it’s beautiful and  practical, it’s a winner. Custom tote bags, engraved pieces, personalised planners, home décor that actually gets used. Add words that mean something A name. A date. A short message. A quote that hits home. That tiny detail? It’s everything. Don’t forget the packaging Unwrapping is part of the experience. A lovely box or custom ribbon makes it feel extra special before they’ve even seen what’s inside. When you look at gifting this way, it stops being stressful and starts being creative. And honestly? That’s the fun part. Why Pure Joy Designs Is So Special (And Yes, I’m Biased 😉) At Pure Joy Designs, everything starts with one simple idea: gifts should feel meaningful. Whether it’s a personalised keepsake for a family member or branded pieces that make your business look beautifully put together, it’s all about thoughtful details and quality that lasts. From engraved wooden pieces to custom décor and bespoke designs, each item is made to celebrate real moments — the big ones and the small ones. And one thing I’ll always stand by? The attention to detail. Nothing leaves without being something I’d be proud to give myself. Because if it doesn’t feel special, what’s the point? Creative Gifts for Business Owners (Yes, They Matter!) If you run a business, personalised designs aren’t just “nice to have.” They’re powerful. Here’s how they can work for you: Client thank you gifts  that genuinely feel thoughtful Event giveaways  that people actually keep Team appreciation gifts  that boost morale Seasonal campaigns  that keep your brand front of mind The key? It’s not about slapping your logo on something random. It’s about creating something that reflects your brand and makes people feel valued. And people remember how you make them feel. Making Moments Matter At the end of the day, gifts are about connection. They’re about celebrating milestones, friendships, hard work, new babies, new homes, new chapters. They’re about saying, “This matters. You matter.” Creative gift designs just help you say it in a way that feels thoughtful, personal and a little bit magical. So next time you’re searching for the perfect gift, don’t settle for “that’ll do.” Create something meaningful instead 💛 And if you need a little help bringing your ideas to life, you know where to find me. Happy gifting, Lauren ✨

  • Why Buying From a Small Business Really Matters

Let me be totally honest from the start — I shop on Amazon. I’ve ordered bits from Temu too. Cheap and cheerful places absolutely have their place, especially when you need something quick, basic, or practical. This isn’t about saying those places are “bad”. It is  about explaining why, when you want something meaningful, personal, or made with care, buying from a small business makes all the difference. You’re Buying From a Real Person (Hello 👋) When you buy from my small business, you’re not ordering from a warehouse or a computer system — you’re buying from a real person in the UK. It’s me designing your item, making it, packing it, and posting it. Every order matters because it’s personal. I notice your name. I read your message. I care that it’s right. That human connection is something you just don’t get with mass-produced products — and that’s what makes small businesses special. Handmade and Made With Intention Big marketplaces are amazing at producing huge quantities of the same thing. Small businesses are amazing at creating things with intention. I don’t make items by the thousand hoping they’ll suit everyone. I create handmade and personalised designs that can be tailored to you  — your home, your child, your business, your event, or your gift. Whether it’s a custom name, size, colour, or design tweak, small businesses exist to be flexible and thoughtful, not one-size-fits-all. Personalised Gifts That Actually Feel Personal One of the biggest reasons people choose small businesses is for personalised gifts that truly feel special. If you message me asking: “Can we change the wording?” “Could this be made to fit a specific space?” “Can you match a theme or colour?” I’ll always help if I can. That kind of collaboration just isn’t possible with mass-produced items that are designed once and sold endlessly. With a small business, your idea becomes part of the process. Quality Over “Good Enough” Sometimes “good enough” is exactly what you need — and that’s okay. But when you’re buying something for your home, your business, or as a gift, quality matters. You want it to last, to look good, and to feel worth giving. As a UK small business, my reputation relies on trust, repeat customers, and word of mouth. That means attention to detail, materials, and finish are never an afterthought — they’re the whole point. Supporting a Small Business Supports More Than You Think When you buy from a small business, your money doesn’t disappear into a huge global system. It supports: a real family local suppliers creative skills someone genuinely passionate about what they do In my case, it supports a creative UK business built around joy, flexibility, and thoughtful design — something I’m incredibly proud of. You Don’t Have to Choose One or the Other And this part is important: you don’t have to choose only  small businesses or only  big marketplaces. Buy everyday bits where it makes sense. Grab the quick, cheap things when that’s what you need. But when something matters — a personalised gift, a keepsake, a custom item, or something special for your home or business — that’s when choosing a small business really counts. Final Thoughts Small businesses aren’t trying to be the cheapest or the fastest. We’re here to offer: care creativity flexibility and the knowledge that your item was made for you , not just shipped to you If that matters to you, you’re exactly the kind of customer I love creating for. And if you’ve ever supported my small business — thank you. Honestly. It means more than I can say 🤍

  • Thoughtful Gestures: Unique Mother’s Day Gift Ideas to Celebrate Mum

Mother’s Day is that one day a year where we collectively try to condense a lifetime of gratitude into a single Sunday. Let’s be real: flowers wilt and chocolates disappear in a weekend. If you’re looking to give something that lingers—items that feel like a warm hug and a "thank you" combined—personalised wooden keepsakes are the way to go. I wanted to highlight a few items from my Pure Joy Designs  collection that turn simple gifts into core memories. 1. The Morning Ritual: Personalised Breakfast Board Nothing says "relax, we've got this" like breakfast in bed. But skip the flimsy tray and upgrade to the Breakfast Board with Egg Cup Holders . The Vibe:  It’s practical, sturdy, and charmingly rustic. The Twist:  Custom engraving makes it hers. Whether it's "Mum’s Sunday Brunch" or a sweet handwritten message from the kids, it turns a simple piece of toast and soft-boiled eggs into a royal event. Pro-Tip:  Serve it with her favourite sourdough, avocado and a perfectly timed 6-minute egg. 2. A Card She’ll Actually Keep: Wooden Greeting Cards We’ve all seen the "World’s Best Mum" paper cards that end up in a recycling bin the following week. A Personalised Wooden Greeting Card  is different. It’s a piece of decor. Why it works:  The tactile feel of the wood gives your message weight—literally and figuratively. Display Value:  These look stunning propped up on a mantle or a bookshelf, serving as a permanent reminder of your appreciation. 3. For the Green-Thumbed Queen: Wooden Plant Picks If your mum’s house looks more like a curated jungle, she doesn’t need another pot. She needs Wooden Plant Picks . The Detail:  These delicate stakes can be tucked into her favourite flowers. Personalisation:  Engrave them with the names of her "human" seedlings (the kids) or little growth puns like "Watch Mum Grow." It’s a small detail that makes her daily plant-watering routine a bit more joyful. 4. The Grand Finale: Wooden Gift Envelope If you’re giving a gift card, cash for a spa day, or a heartfelt letter, don’t just slide it into a paper sleeve. The Wooden Gift Envelope  is the ultimate "level up" for gift presentation. First Impressions:  It creates a sense of ceremony. It feels like opening a secret treasure chest rather than just an errand-run card. Sustainability:  It’s a beautiful, reusable piece that reflects a commitment to quality over "throwaway" culture. Why Choose Wood This Mother's Day? There is something deeply grounded about wooden gifts. They are durable, timeless, and—much like a mother’s influence—they only get better with age. When you choose pieces from Pure Joy Designs , you aren’t just buying a product; you’re choosing a handcrafted touch that shows you actually put thought into the "how" and "why" of your gifting. Happy Mother's Day to all the nurturers out there!

  • Wrapping Up 2025 at Pure Joy Designs ✨

As 2025 comes to a close, I wanted to take a moment to look back on the year and say a huge thank you . This year has been full of creativity, lovely conversations, and so many special projects. I’m so proud of what Pure Joy Designs has grown into. A Year Full of Personal Touches 2025 was all about creating pieces that feel personal and meaningful. From bespoke labels and wall decals to laser-cut gifts, wooden QR cubes, decorations, and children’s activities, every order brought something a little bit different. One of my favorite parts of running Pure Joy Designs is working closely with customers to bring their ideas to life. Whether it was a rough sketch, a Pinterest photo, or a “not sure exactly what I want but…” message, I loved turning those ideas into finished pieces that felt just right. The Joy of Customization Customization is at the heart of what I do. It’s not just about making a product; it’s about crafting a memory. Each piece tells a story. I believe that every gift should reflect the personality of the giver and the recipient. That’s why I take the time to understand what my customers want. Have you ever received a gift that felt just perfect? That’s the magic I aim to create with every order. It’s about those little details that make a big difference. Small Businesses, Big Smiles This year, I was lucky enough to continue working with some amazing small businesses and corporate clients. Creating custom signage, branded items, and display pieces is something I really enjoy—especially when it helps businesses stand out while still feeling warm and welcoming. The beech wooden QR cubes were a real hit again this year, particularly in professional and retail spaces. Seeing them used in such creative ways never gets old. Alongside business orders, I also spent lots of time creating items for birthdays, celebrations, seasonal events, and children’s activities. Knowing something I’ve made is part of a happy memory is honestly the best feeling. Celebrating Milestones Every milestone deserves a celebration, right? Whether it’s a birthday, an anniversary, or a new job, I love being part of those special moments. Custom gifts can turn an ordinary occasion into something extraordinary. For instance, I’ve created personalized gifts for weddings that have left couples in tears of joy. It’s those heartfelt reactions that fuel my passion. Learning, Growing & Creating 2025 wasn’t just about what I made, but how I grew. I tried new techniques, refined how I work behind the scenes, and pushed myself creatively more than ever before. Every challenge taught me something new, and every kind review or repeat order reminded me why I do this. I’m so grateful for every order, message, share, and recommendation this year—none of it goes unnoticed. Embracing New Techniques This year, I explored various new techniques. From experimenting with different materials to learning new design software, I’ve pushed my creative boundaries. It’s exciting to see how these changes can elevate my work. Have you ever tried something new and felt that rush of excitement? That’s how I feel every time I create a new piece. Looking Ahead to 2026 As we head into 2026, I’m feeling excited and inspired. There are new ideas bubbling away, new designs waiting to be created, and lots more opportunities to work with lovely customers old and new. Thank you so much for supporting Pure Joy Designs in 2025—whether you ordered, shared my work, or simply followed along. You truly make this little business what it is. • Getting Organised: The Ultimate Guide to Decluttering and Labeling Your Home in the New Year

As the new year unfolds, many of us feel an urge for a fresh start. There is a unique sense of opportunity in the air that inspires us to clear out clutter and organise our homes. The sight of tidy drawers and neatly arranged wardrobes can bring immense satisfaction. From my own experience of loving organisation, I’ve developed a system that helps me sort through belongings efficiently. Let’s take on the challenge together and transform our spaces into welcoming havens. Nursery drawers organised with vinyl labels on boxes The Importance of Decluttering Decluttering goes beyond just tidying up; it’s about embracing what truly matters in our lives. A clean environment often leads to a clear mind. Studies show that 75% of people feel less stressed in an organised space. When chaos filters into our homes, it can create feelings of overwhelm. By removing unnecessary items, we regain control over our physical surroundings and our mental well-being. Every item in our homes carries a certain energy. By letting go of what no longer serves us, we free ourselves for growth and positivity. Imagine walking into a room that holds only the things you love and use; that feeling can be truly revitalising. Gold vinyl labels Getting Started: The Decluttering Process Step 1: Gather Supplies Before diving in, collect what you need for the process. Key items include: Bins/boxes for sorting Trash bags for items that are no longer useful Cleaning supplies for surfaces that need refreshing With your supplies ready, assess each item as you sort. Ask yourself if it adds value to your life. If not, it’s time to let it go. Step 2: Take Everything Out One of the best parts of organising is pulling everything out to see it all clearly. Start with one drawer or section, laying everything out on your bed or floor. This makes it easier to visualize your belongings. You might realize you have six pairs of black shoes you forgot about or multiple half-used candles. This eye-opening exercise can reveal purchasing habits you may want to change. Step 3: Categorize Your Items As you sort, group similar items together. This might include clothes, accessories, books, and kitchen utensils. This organisation will streamline the process of finding things later. Consider adopting a 'one in, one out' rule to help manage future clutter. For instance, if you buy a new shirt, commit to donating an old one. This method can significantly reduce the accumulation of unnecessary items. Labeling for Efficiency With the decluttering finished, take organisation a step further through labeling. Here’s why labels make a difference. Why Labels Matter Labels streamline your organisation efforts. They allow you to find items quickly without digging through bins. According to research, over 50% of people say they waste time searching for items in cluttered spaces. Labels not only add clarity but give each area a personal touch, making it easier to maintain order. Choosing Your Labeling Method There are several effective labeling methods to choose from, including: Vinyl Labels : These are great for various surfaces and come in numerous colors. You can create them using a label-making machine or order custom prints online. Toy storage Tags : Simple string tags can bring a charming touch, especially for items in clear bins. They allow for visibility while providing clear reference points. Loop Tags Select a labeling method that resonates with your style and the items you're organizing. The right labels can make the process enjoyable and effective! Loop tag acrylic labels Maintaining Your Organised Space Keeping your space organised is key after decluttering and labeling. It might seem overwhelming, but with a few habits, you can maintain your tidy haven: Monthly Reviews : Schedule time each month to assess any new items that have entered your space. Are there items that need sorting or donating? Immediate Replacements : Make it a habit to return items to their designated spots right after use. This small effort can prevent clutter from building up. Additionally, keep a donation box handy in your home. Add items regularly, and when the box is full, drop it off at a local charity. This not only keeps your space clean but also helps those in need. Fresh Starts Await The new year is the perfect chance to declutter, organise, and revitalize our living spaces. In my own journey of organisation, I’ve found sorting through my belongings to be both liberating and empowering. Coupled with effective labeling, I experience enhanced control and serenity in my home. A clean home truly contributes to a clear mind. So let’s seize this opportunity together, tackle those drawers and wardrobes, and create a space that mirrors our best selves! Here’s to an organized and fulfilling year ahead!

  • Pure Joy Chronicles: From Chaos to Custom Creations

Hey there, fabulous readers! I'm Lauren, your friendly neighbourhood chaos-tamer, label enthusiast, and proud owner of Pure Joy Designs. Join me on this rollercoaster ride of juggling young kids, not taking life and myself to seriously, sipping cocktails, and turning chaos into pure joy! Lockdown 1, like many of us, brought out the organiser in me. With Netflix as my virtual guru, I became a home organisation addict. Cupboards, wardrobes, and drawers fell under my meticulous reign, all thanks to the magic of vinyl labels. Who knew a tidy home could be so therapeutic? Clean home, clear mind - my mantra! Originally from Rayleigh, Essex, I packed my bags and moved to Bristol in 2012. Happily married in 2017 and then my peaceful life was turned upside down when I became a mum (I wouldn’t have it any other way). I am the proud mummy of a pink loving 6-year-old sassy princess who dances her way from life and 3-year-old hurricane. He comes into every room like a wrecking ball. Trust me; two tiny humans can create a whirlwind of chaos that rivals any TV drama. But fear not, fellow warriors of domestic disorder! I didn't just survive; I thrived. Inspired by the decluttering shows that became my guilty pleasure, I launched Pure Joy Designs in 2020. Because let's face it, if I could bring order to my chaotic abode, I could certainly do the same for yours! Life threw me a curveball in the form of subglottic stenosis, a rare condition that affects my breathing. But you know what? I refuse to let it be the director of my life's movie. I share this not for sympathy, but to connect with those who might be facing their own battles. If you're navigating through the whirlwind of a rare condition or any health challenge, remember you're not alone. Let's inspire each other to keep dancing, breathing, and living. With a degree in Event Management and International Hospitality from the University of Gloucestershire, my pre-mom life was a whirlwind of events across the UK, particularly in London and Bristol. Fast forward to today, and my focus has shifted to tiny tots and turning their chaos into creativity. When I'm not wielding my label maker or immersed in design projects, you'll find me sipping cocktails and socialising with family and friends. Traveling is another passion, and I'm always on the lookout for new places to explore and memories to create. I am looking forward to creating more content on my family life and help other parents with ideas on activities and trips to keep the kids out of trouble and learning just for fun . Here are some tips to ensure that these creations are as lasting and treasured as the moments they symbolize. Choose High-Quality Materials Select high-quality materials when printing your child's artwork. This will ensure that the finished product is durable and long-lasting, preserving your memories for years. Products made from durable inks and sturdy surfaces can often withstand wear and tear much better, often lasting over ten years. Preserve the Original Artwork Before crafting, make copies of your child's artwork. This provides a backup in case of any mistakes during printing and keeps the original for future keepsakes. Get Your Child Involved Involve your child in the creative process. Let them help choose designs and artworks. This makes the project more fun and teaches them the value of personalisation. Add a Special Touch Including a handwritten note from your child with the gift can add an extra layer of sentimentality. A personal note reinforces the connection between the gift and its creator and can make the recipient feel even more cherished. Cherished Moments Transforming your child's artwork and handwriting into keepsake gifts creates lifelong memories that celebrate their creativity. Whether through artfully adorned items, handwritten treasures, or functional keepsakes, each gift tells a unique story. As we navigate the beautiful journey of parenting, capturing these precious moments allows us to cherish our children's imaginations. Let your creativity flow and start crafting these personalized treasures that bring joy to both the giver and receiver. Childhood may be fleeting, but the memories we create can last a lifetime. Happy crafting!

  • How To Apply Vinyl Labels

I absolutely love organisation. Taking everything out of a drawer or wardrobe, getting rid of things I don't use and then putting it all back so it is neat and easy find everything. I also can't resist adding a label. Once you have received your label, please apply as soon as possible 1. Clean application area and allow to dry fully 2. Use credit card to rub over the label to ensure it is stuck to the transfer paper. 3. Carefully remove white backing paper ensuring the full label is stuck to the clear transfer paper. Vinyl may be difficult to get onto transfer paper so fold backing white paper on itself. (see video on my website) 4. Align label sticky side down on to your required surface. 5. Use credit card to rub over the label to ensure it adheres to the surface. 6. Slowly remove the clear transfer paper from the label. Not suitable for microwave or dishwasher use. Do not scrub or soak for a long time. Check out some example of some of our projects >>> https://www.purejoydesigns.co.uk/organisation-labels

  • Family Fun Fiesta: Navigating Parenthood with Pure Joy

Hey fellow parents and joy enthusiasts! Lauren here, your guide to turning family life into a spectacular adventure, with the help of a friend or two. Before I start, I want to make it clear I am not a parenting or educational expert. I am a mum of 2 navigating, mainly stumbling, my way through raising 2 trouble-makers. I am creating a continuing guide to keep our children engaged resulting in (hopefully) them staying out of too much mischief. Lets face it, they are going to find a way some how. At Pure Joy, we're not just about labels and designs; we're about crafting memories and creating moments that make family life a joyous ride. So I have set a page up as bit of fun and to share ideas with you. Just for Fun | Pure Joy Designs Just For Fun My passion for creating activities at home started when I had my first. It was spring of 2020, she was 18months old and covid happen!! How was I going to keep her busy during lockdown! (and me sane). We were always out and about before, so this was going to be a challenge. But it turned out to be a blessing. I am so grateful for the time we spent together and loved researching new activities to keep her entertained and help her develop new skills. • Dream weddings - It's all in the detail

You are engaged and ready to plan the best day of your life. But how do you make your wedding unique to you? Pure Joy is all about making it personal. The list is endless and can be extremely overwhelming. But I can help with lots of it! In a previous life, I was an Event Manager and Wedding Coordinator, where I could help make and see visions come to life. The wedding of your dreams is right at your fingertips and doesn't have a cost an arm and leg... It's a lot of organising, so where do you start? Ask yourself as many questions as you can to create an image of what you would like. I recommend visiting lots of places and creating a board on Pinterest and share your favourite post with me. Next on the list is to get the big things sorted. Things book up quickly (so give yourself enough time) especially venues, caterers, photographers/videographers, DJs/bands, wedding cake specialists, flowers, centrepieces, transport and wedding outfits. If you want a wedding dress made to measure, this may take 6 months or longer to arrive and then altered to fit. Don't forget booking the registrar and getting your wedding licence. There are also quirky extras like photo booths and sweet shops…. TIP: Get yourself wedding insurance! It can really help if something happens and details need to be changed due to illness, supplier bankruptcy etc. Here is where I can help... The finishing touches are what brings everything together. From invitations to wedding favours, table plans to envelope boxes, name places to kids packs. Each item can be unique to your style. At Pure Joy we offer a bespoke service catered to your needs and budget. We ask what it is you are looking for. We create ideas that meet your budget and theme. Whether it's as little as labels for baskets and pots for sweets, flip flops or toiletries in the loos or as big as creating 100 name places. Using different materials and colours can help create the vibe you are looking for. We use vinyl, wood, acrylic and 3D printed items Last year we created stickers and labels for a country chic wedding in Cornwall. The labels were printed on kraft paper and tied to jam jars with brown twine filled with local fudge. A custom sticker was then added with the bride and groom's names and date of their wedding. We continued the theme with kraft bags for children's activity packs on the dining tables. Each with a vinyl label of the child's name on the bag. Labels were also made for the table plan which was a map of Cornwall. In December we were honoured to be asked to create a number of items for a classic wedding. We used acrylic discs with gold text which really popped on the green napkin for table names. Again we created personalised stickers for favours but this time they were on top of a shot of tequila rose (which was yummy).* Our bride and groom were extremely into motorsport and as they meet through motorsport, they wanted this to be a part of their big day. It was fantastic to be able to add this theme into the wedding in a subtle and tasteful away. To match the acrylic name places, we added gold UK race tracks to acrylic stands from Hobbycraft. Each race track related to a different table. This just one example of how we can create personalised items that represent you and make your day unique.* But it didn't end there. We also continued the gold theme with labels for coat hangers for the bridal party's outfits. The bride also wanted to create a video she had seen on instagram, so we created labels for heart glasses which guests wore for a photo which was then collated into a video of 1sec photos. At Pure Joy Designs we do have standard items that can be purchased and personalised from our shop page. However it's impossible to show everything we can create when our products are so unique and completely custom to each wedding and couple. We love to hear about you and recommend researching different ideas that you like and sending over examples of what you have seen, so we can create the perfect little extras that represents your essence. And that's not all... We don't stop at only the wedding day but also the run up. In the past we have created labels for presents to ask the wedding party to be part of the big day and of course goodies for the hen do. You can't go wrong with a good sash. But I absolutely loved making these glasses for a bridal party. The beautiful champagne flutes are from Dunelm. The options are endless and not only do we have a range of wedding gifts available, we can also adapt other products for all your wedding needs. See below for inspiration on boxes for gift envelopes, wedding favours, wedding gifts, children activity packs and cake toppers. Everything can be changed for your wedding. *Wedding photo are from the wedding guys. For personalised wedding products, please contact us directly.
