When you place an order with Pure Joy Designs, you're not ordering from a large warehouse or production team—it's just me behind the scenes, creating each personalised piece with care from start to finish.

I thought it would be fun to give you a little peek into what happens after you click that order button!

Step 1: Your Order Lands in My Inbox

The first thing I do is check all of your personalisation details, making sure names, dates, colours and spellings are exactly as you've requested.

As every item is made to order, I take time to double-check everything before I begin creating your keepsake. Being a family business and juggling mum life I sometimes have little helpers.

Step 2: Preparing Your Design

Next, I set up your personalised design ready for production.

Whether you've ordered a school board, milestone sign, keepsake gift or something completely unique, this is where your item starts to come to life.

I always take a moment to make sure the layout looks just right before moving on to the next stage.

Step 3: Making Your Order

This is my favourite part!

Using quality materials and precision laser engraving, I carefully create your item. There's something so satisfying about watching a blank piece of wood transform into a keepsake that will be treasured for years to come.

Every piece is individually checked during the process to ensure the finish is exactly as it should be.

Step 4: Quality Checks

Before anything leaves my workshop, I give it a final inspection.

I check the engraving, the personalisation details and the overall finish to make sure I'm happy with every aspect of your order.

If I wouldn't be happy receiving it myself, it doesn't get sent.

Step 5: Packing With Care

Once your order has passed its final checks, it's time to package it up ready for its journey.

I carefully wrap each item to help ensure it arrives safely and in perfect condition. One of my favourite moments is imagining the excitement when you open your parcel for the first time.

Step 6: On Its Way to You

Once packed, your order is dispatched and begins its journey to its new home.

Whether it's for a child's first day of school, a special celebration or a meaningful gift, I love knowing that something I've created will become part of your memories.
