  • Creating Dream Wedding Moments: My Favourite UK Wedding Suppliers ✨

One of my absolute favourite things about creating bespoke wedding décor isn’t just the pretty tables (although I do love a Pinterest-worthy setup!)—it’s the amazing community of talented suppliers I get to "work" with. My table number with Daisies & Poppies Floristry's flowers Even though I spend my days in the studio crafting your personalised place settings and table plans to send out to you before the big day, it’s always such a joy when my pieces end up at a wedding alongside this incredible crew. When you find a team that "just gets it," it makes the entire planning process so much smoother for our couples. Meet the "Dream Team" Suppliers I wanted to give a proper shout-out to the people I often collaborate with because, honestly, they are experts at their craft: The Glow: Sarah (Makeup Artist) Sarah creates the most stunning, glowing bridal makeup. She has a magic touch for keeping the morning atmosphere calm and happy—a total must-have for any bride! www.instagram.com/xsarahsbeauty The Style: Jo (Hair Stylist) Whether you’re looking for relaxed bridal waves or a detailed updo, Jo nails the brief every time. She’s a pro at making sure your hair stays perfect from the ceremony to the dancefloor. www.instagram.com/j.b.hairdressing/ The Blooms: Gemma (Florist) Gemma’s wedding flowers are breathtaking. Her floral designs and my wedding stationery are a match made in heaven—they always complement each other beautifully on the day - www.instagram.com/daisies.and.poppies.floristry/ The Details: Me, Lauren at Pure Joy Designs I’m the one behind the scenes, creating your custom acrylic signage, name places, and table names to tie your entire wedding theme together. www.purejoydesigns.co.uk/weddings How the Vision Comes Together This is the part I love the most. I carefully package your signage and send it off to you, and then the magic happens at the venue! We all have our own weddings we working each part has a part to play. Gemma adds her floral magic to elevate the whole look. Meanwhile, Sarah and Jo are busy getting the bridal party ready. By the time the guests arrive, the look, the feel, and the atmosphere are completely cohesive and intentional. If you are looking for: Unique Wedding Signage On-trend Table Styling Professional Bridal Makeup & Hair Luxury Wedding Florals ...it really helps to choose suppliers who already have a great rapport. It takes the pressure off you and ensures every detail is handled by someone who cares. I’m so proud to be part of a network of four women-led wedding businesses that truly support each other. We might all have different crafts, but we share the same goal: making your wedding day effortless and beautiful. Let’s Make Your Wedding Feel Like You 💛 If you’re currently planning and want some handcrafted wedding details  to bring your vision to life, I’d love to help. And if you end up booking this lovely lot too, I can promise you—you’re in very good hands! Below is a list of photographers that took some of the below photos. • International Women's Day

Yesterday was International Women’s Day 🤍 I’ve been thinking about the women who shaped me — the ones who loved me first, guided me, challenged me, and showed me what strength really looks like. To our mums and nans — the quiet resilience, the sacrifices we didn’t always see, the unconditional love that built the foundation of who we are. To the teachers and mentors who saw something in us before we saw it in ourselves — who pushed us to think bigger, speak louder, and stand taller. Mum, Me and my lovely sister We are who we are because of you. And then there’s us — the women we are today. The jugglers. The builders. The nurturers. The leaders. The friends. The safe spaces. The ones breaking cycles, chasing dreams, holding families together, building careers, starting over when we have to, and showing up even when it’s hard. We are strong — not because it’s easy, but because we’ve had to be. We are soft and powerful. Ambitious and nurturing. Still learning. Still growing. Still becoming. And now, we look at the next generation — our daughters. Watching them figure out who they are. Watching their fire, their confidence, their curiosity. Teaching them that their voice matters. That they can take up space. That they are allowed to be bold, kind, driven, gentle, loud, quiet — whatever feels true to them. What a privilege it is to raise girls who know their worth. What a responsibility it is to model it. My beautiful daughter Here’s to the women who raised us. To the women we are. And to the women we’re raising. May we continue to lift each other, back each other, and remind the next generation that there is no limit to who they can become. Happy International Women’s Day 🤍 Four Generations of my family - Nans, Mums, daughters, cousins and Aunties #InternationalWomensDay #IWD #WomensDay #EmpoweredWomen #WomensEmpowerment #WomenSupportingWomen #StrongWomen #RaiseStrongGirls #NextGeneration #FemaleLeaders #WomenInBusiness #WorkingMum #MothersAndDaughters #MentorshipMatters #InspiringWomen #CommunityOverCompetition #Equality #BreakTheBias #SheBelievedSheCould #WomensLeadership

  • Why Choosing Small Businesses Matters for Personal Gifts

You’re Buying From a Real Person (Hi 👋) When you order from my small business, you’re buying from me. I design it. I make it. I pack it. I post it. Every order is personal. I see your name, I read your messages, and I genuinely care that what you receive is exactly right. That one-to-one connection is something I really value, and it’s a big part of why I love what I do. Handmade — Made With Intention Large retailers are great at offering convenience and consistency. What I offer is something a little different. I create handmade, personalised pieces designed around you — your home, your child, your business, your event, your gift. I’m not working from a production line. I’m creating each item individually, with care and attention. Need a different size? A name added? A colour adjusted? If I can do it, I will. That flexibility is one of the lovely things about being a small business. Personalised Gifts That Truly Feel Special One of the reasons people choose to shop small is because they want something that feels thoughtful. If you message me asking: “Can we change the wording?” “Could this be made to fit a certain space?” “Can you match a theme or colour?” I’m always happy to help where I can. I love that part — turning your idea into something real. It makes the finished piece even more meaningful. Quality and Care When you’re buying something for your home, your business, or as a gift, you want it to feel right. As a UK small business, my reputation means everything to me. I rely on trust, repeat customers and kind recommendations. That means I pay attention to the details — the materials, the finish, the overall feel of each piece. It’s not about being the fastest or the biggest. It’s about making something I’m proud to send out. What Your Support Really Does When you choose to support a small business, you’re supporting: • a real family • local suppliers • creativity and skills • someone who genuinely loves what they do In my case, you’re supporting a creative UK business built around thoughtful design and flexibility — and I’m incredibly grateful for that. There’s Room for Everyone There’s space for big retailers and small businesses. They serve different purposes, and we all shop where it makes sense. But when something feels important — a personalised gift, a keepsake, a custom piece for your space — that’s when shopping small can feel extra special. From Me, Honestly Small businesses aren’t here to compete on volume. We’re here to offer: • care • creativity • flexibility • and something made especially for you If that matters to you, I’m so glad you’re here. And if you’ve ever supported my small business — thank you. Truly. It means more than you know 🤍
