International Women's Day

Yesterday was International Women’s Day 🤍

I’ve been thinking about the women who shaped me — the ones who loved me first, guided me, challenged me, and showed me what strength really looks like.

To our mums and nans — the quiet resilience, the sacrifices we didn’t always see, the unconditional love that built the foundation of who we are. To the teachers and mentors who saw something in us before we saw it in ourselves — who pushed us to think bigger, speak louder, and stand taller.

We are who we are because of you.

And then there’s us — the women we are today. The jugglers. The builders. The nurturers. The leaders. The friends. The safe spaces.

The ones breaking cycles, chasing dreams, holding families together, building careers, starting over when we have to, and showing up even when it’s hard.

We are strong — not because it’s easy, but because we’ve had to be. We are soft and powerful. Ambitious and nurturing. Still learning. Still growing. Still becoming.

And now, we look at the next generation — our daughters.

Watching them figure out who they are. Watching their fire, their confidence, their curiosity. Teaching them that their voice matters. That they can take up space. That they are allowed to be bold, kind, driven, gentle, loud, quiet — whatever feels true to them.

What a privilege it is to raise girls who know their worth.

What a responsibility it is to model it.

Here’s to the women who raised us.

To the women we are.

And to the women we’re raising.

May we continue to lift each other, back each other, and remind the next generation that there is no limit to who they can become.

Happy International Women’s Day 🤍
