You are engaged and ready to plan the best day of your life. But how do you make your wedding unique to you? Pure Joy is all about making it personal. The list is endless and can be extremely overwhelming. But I can help with lots of it!
In a previous life, I was an Event Manager and Wedding Coordinator, where I could help make and see visions come to life. The wedding of your dreams is right at your fingertips and doesn't have a cost an arm and leg...
It's a lot of organising, so where do you start? Ask yourself as many questions as you can to create an image of what you would like. I recommend visiting lots of places and creating a board on Pinterest and share your favourite post with me.
Next on the list is to get the big things sorted. Things book up quickly (so give yourself enough time) especially venues, caterers, photographers/videographers, DJs/bands, wedding cake specialists, flowers, centrepieces, transport and wedding outfits. If you want a wedding dress made to measure, this may take 6 months or longer to arrive and then altered to fit. Don't forget booking the registrar and getting your wedding licence. There are also quirky extras like photo booths and sweet shops….
TIP: Get yourself wedding insurance! It can really help if something happens and details need to be changed due to illness, supplier bankruptcy etc.
Here is where I can help...
The finishing touches are what brings everything together. From invitations to wedding favours, table plans to envelope boxes, name places to kids packs. Each item can be unique to your style. At Pure Joy we offer a bespoke service catered to your needs and budget. We ask what it is you are looking for. We create ideas that meet your budget and theme. Whether it's as little as labels for baskets and pots for sweets, flip flops or toiletries in the loos or as big as creating 100 name places.
Using different materials and colours can help create the vibe you are looking for. We use vinyl, wood, acrylic and 3D printed items
Last year we created stickers and labels for a country chic wedding in Cornwall. The labels were printed on kraft paper and tied to jam jars with brown twine filled with local fudge. A custom sticker was then added with the bride and groom's names and date of their wedding. We continued the theme with kraft bags for children's activity packs on the dining tables. Each with a vinyl label of the child's name on the bag.
Labels were also made for the table plan which was a map of Cornwall.
In December we were honoured to be asked to create a number of items for a classic wedding. We used acrylic discs with gold text which really popped on the green napkin for table names. Again we created personalised stickers for favours but this time they were on top of a shot of tequila rose (which was yummy).*
Our bride and groom were extremely into motorsport and as they meet through motorsport, they wanted this to be a part of their big day. It was fantastic to be able to add this theme into the wedding in a subtle and tasteful away. To match the acrylic name places, we added gold UK race tracks to acrylic stands from Hobbycraft. Each race track related to a different table. This just one example of how we can create personalised items that represent you and make your day unique.*
But it didn't end there. We also continued the gold theme with labels for coat hangers for the bridal party's outfits. The bride also wanted to create a video she had seen on instagram, so we created labels for heart glasses which guests wore for a photo which was then collated into a video of 1sec photos.
At Pure Joy Designs we do have standard items that can be purchased and personalised from our shop page. However it's impossible to show everything we can create when our products are so unique and completely custom to each wedding and couple. We love to hear about you and recommend researching different ideas that you like and sending over examples of what you have seen, so we can create the perfect little extras that represents your essence.
And that's not all...
We don't stop at only the wedding day but also the run up. In the past we have created labels for presents to ask the wedding party to be part of the big day and of course goodies for the hen do. You can't go wrong with a good sash. But I absolutely loved making these glasses for a bridal party. The beautiful champagne flutes are from Dunelm.
The options are endless and not only do we have a range of wedding gifts available, we can also adapt other products for all your wedding needs. See below for inspiration on boxes for gift envelopes, wedding favours, wedding gifts, children activity packs and cake toppers. Everything can be changed for your wedding.
